james jeans floyd flarethis past weekend, i thought it might be a good time to go by the warehouse sale and pick up some new denim. not that in december i spent a pretty penny on a cute pair of james jeans and some great 7's. they look good in the pics, eh? these were seven for all mankind, not the cheapo "seven 7" brand, btw.

i headed out to the marina and finally found a parking spot before walking over to fort mason. this was the first time they've come out to san francisco, so it was a bit surprising to see so many girls out there. and a few guys too. maybe it was because they promised to have all of THESE....

seven for all mankind a-line studs7 for all Mankind The unanimous favorite best-fitting brand.
575 Denim The fastest-rising name in denim today.
Grass LA The luxurious cashmere jean: an LA favorite.
Hudson Jeans The infamous triangle pocket plus new styles.
Paper Denim & Cloth The softest Italian and Japanese ringspun denim. ...and other brands too hot to mention.
(their descriptions, not mine)

...the line was TWO HOURS long!!!!

Lc. Aloha Case 'Ching Hua'after about 15 minutes of trying to be patient and moving a grand total of 20 feet, i gave up and decided to follow all of the more sensible people to the pacific orchid exposition held by the san francisco orchid society, also at fort mason. amazing show of orchids of all shapes and sizes. i've got a couple breathtaking photos on my cell cam but have no way to upload them sans charges. admission was $12, and there were terrific deals on orchids and plenty of award-winning plants to see.

Slc. Hazel Boyd 'Orinda'i picked up these two beauties from kawamoto orchids, based in hawaii. as this was the last day of the show, the plants were an extra $5 off, which means they were only $15 a piece. wow. i got the Slc. Hazel Boyd 'Orinda' for Patrick (the red ones) and the Lc. Aloha Case 'Ching Hua' (the purple one) for me.
