geez, may's flying by. last weekend i went home to florida, got to see my mom for both her birthday (saturday) and mother's day. on saturday i was the MC for taiwan music night, which was this huge deal thrown by the south florida taiwanese association along with the FIU taiwanese student association. the weekend went by in a whirlwind along with my dreams of getting lotsa sleep. by the time monday came i had tons of email to catch up on (yeah, still don't have a highspeed conx at home) and a huge sleep debt to get rid of, not to mention an oral presentation bright and early monday morning with the written report due at 5 pm. grrr. which all did get done by the way.

now i'm starting to get moving on getting resumes and cover letters out, just gotta commit myself to doing this as, well, i won't have anything to do next year if i don't start getting a move on. i think the reason i've been procrastinating this so long is that, well, it's scary having to find a job for the first (real) time, and esp not knowing where i'm going to end up. oh, and add to that 'fear of rejection.' here i go. wish me luck.
