today was an odd day. i spent over 2 hours at the DMV trying to get my bf's vehicle registration done, and that was the most wasted time i've spent in quite a while. not only did i show up 15 minutes before the place open, but people *after* me in line were out the door half an hour before me. grrr. they finally started back to calling my set of numbers (i was B014) after i complained. the G set was at something like 5 when i came in; they made it up to 30! wtf. basically every other set of letter/number combos was past mine. sure, i didn't have an appointment, but even if we had actually done the ole conventional line i would have been done much earlier. oh, worse yet, we've got to go back again because of some things they want us to change on the form. what a mess.

by the time i got home after making a target run, it was noon. most of the day already gone, the sunny part anyway. and then i got stuck playing castle and decided to download the artmoney cheat so i could see what the mana pool and whatnot did. kinda fun, but when you can alter the number of basically everything on the screen, it gets a lil old. it's like getting the nintendo game genie to crack games. sure, it's neat at first, but the game's not challenging enough so you just stop playing. mine's running on autopilot now that i've got over 100 archers and a bunch of craftsmen. oh yes, this is the game that doesn't have an end; they didn't bother to write one.
