time for a mini update. there have been quite a few new things going on since my last real post.

- we're engaged! wedding date and location TBD - it'll be in 2008. he proposed while we were hiking in kauai in december.
- we've moved in together in mountain view
- we now have our own washer and dryer + dish washer too! all new big kitchen appliances. really terrific.
- we have new furniture (this took a long time)
- my commute has tripled; on the plus side, i now have some great friends to talk with enroute on the caltrain
- wedding planning has started in earnest, which means shopping updates are going to be less frequent
- we have seen 25+ places thus far
