happy new year! wedding planning has settled down a bit. still have to get invitations out, but we are getting there. just under 5 months to go.

it's official. the martha stewart enterprise is shutting down blueprint magazine. there were hints about this last year (as well as this press release that i didn't find until today), but i didn't really believe it until i got this notice in the mail today:

Dear Ms. (my last name),

We're sorry to inform you that BLUEPRINT has ceased publication and we had to cancel your order.

If any money is due you, it will be refunded under separate cover. Please allow a few weeks for your check to arrive.

On behalf of the publisher, we apologize for this inconvenience. However, please give us a call at 1-866-730-8334 so that we may suggest a substitue publication for you.

since i subscribe to martha stewart weddings (too), i'll get to see how exactly blueprint will be absorbed into the nuptial mag. one last cute project from blueprint: a CD calendar for 2008. make sure to print it on 85% (or you'll have to cut it down to size like i did). you'll also need to take apart your plastic CD case in order for it to open properly as shown in the pic.
