argh!!! after working last week to add better commenting and page counters on my blog, the kind folks at blogger have finally added those features to the standard blog page! plus new templates that look much better than the green motif that i've got here. i also should be able to publish my profile (or what i want to show of it) on the side of my blog, so i tossed my old template in favor of the new version that has the code for profile info added in. or so i thought. i've already republished and re-edited my template to leave in the haloscan stuff i saved from before, but my profile is *still* not showing up. hopefully it'll work soon.

in the meantime...here's a happy belated mother's day reminder to those of you who forgot to call your mom over the weekend. :)
