i went up to the city yesterday with a couple friends and walked around chinatown and union square to do a bit of shopping. lotsa fun. didn't buy anything (clothes) as i don't really have the money now, plus i've already got a couple bills to pay off from my last shopping spree. of course we indulged at the cheesecake factory :) but now that it's over, it's really hard to get motivated to get up/send out cover letters/etc. in the morning, especially since we're going to the beach this afternoon. which means i've got all of one hour, well, less than that, to get work done. let me tell you, when you don't have a 9-to-5 or 10-to-6 or whatever, it's pretty difficult to find a reason to do anything besides relax in bed and read a couple books. i mean, i've already graduated so i don't have classes, i don't have meetings with anyone really, and i don't have the money to go shopping all the time. which means my life turns into a bunch of blah sometimes when i spend too much thinking and analyzing my life. have i made the right decisions for jobs, relationships, etc? am i looking for the right career? am i taking the right path to get there? and for me, having been together with my bf for more than 4 yrs now, is he the one? the one thing i've learned is that you will never know. or why would divorces exist? hah.
