Wow, it's amazing to see how long it's been since I posted....10 days and it'll be a month that I've lapsed. Ah well, so much for New Year's resolutions. Hah.
On the bright side, I do have a couple jobs lined up now, and hopefully I will have actual offers within a week or two. This has really made all of the frustration that I've experienced seem like something far far in the past, especially since I really believe that I will have a job that I love. Woohoo!
Which is terrific timing as my windshield got hit with a rock and now has a gigantic footlong+ crack going across the passenger side. Unfortunately I've got a $250 deductible, so it seems like I'm going to have to pay most of this out-of-pocket (puh!) and I have no idea which auto glass repair shops are reputable (and cheap/reasonable!) in the Bay Area. Oh, and that my cousin is getting married in Vegas at the end of this month (yay!) and I really need to raise some $$ really quickly to pay for a plane flight over there. At least I won't have to shell out more dough for a hotel room since I can crash my parents' room :)
For those of you who don't really like to cook...I just figured out how to do terrific lamb chops...and it's really easy! These are the ones that look like miniature pork chops with the bones still attached. All you have to do is wash them really quickly, douse them with a lil salt, pepper, rosemary, and basil on both sides, and let them marinate in a tupperware in the fridge for a few hours (overnight if you have to). Then just pan fry them (a lil oil in a frying pan, heat on medium high) for about 2-3 minutes each side, and voila! Gourmet lamb chops, yum yum.
