is it not a sad reflection on our country that there are so many people who will do anything to get bush out of office come november? i've been very shocked to see so many websites and random personalities calling for his dismissal, if not his resignation. at this point, people are so mad about the gross mistakes he's made, they don't care who gets elected in his place. given the choice right now i would gladly vote for kerry. too bad hillary's not running.

personally, i think he's one stupid rich man who somehow got lucky enough to become president. the dumb jock whose dad was the only reason he got into any college or b-school. i could easily see him fitting in at home as a texan (rich oil tycoon), but seeing him stumble through answering simple questions on tv is just horrifying. this is the guy we elected to represent our country? how embarrasing. there's no way to say for sure that gore would have been much better, but i believe we wouldn't be in iraq sacrificing american lives if he had been elected instead.

why is dub such a ditz? here's my thoughts:

he can't speak english (or any other language including "mexican") fluently

"weapons of mass destruction"....which *still* haven't been found

his goal of attacking sadaam and iraq for no real reason that "i want to get the man who tried to kill my dad" look it up, he really said that

lack of a plan for actually rebuilding iraq, more like lack of foresight in general (see national debt statement below). one reason iraqi's are probably reluctant to allow american control is perhaps the same reason why we were not very successful in vietnam (according to mcnamara)...while america sees herself as the world's policeman, other nations see america's occupation as an effort to expand her borders by colonizing new territories

mission (not) accomplished, not that he knows what that means either

his utter destruction of america's international diplomacy/policy efforts - all of our allies have dumped us...most people in the world HATE the US now even though they were all very supportive following 9-11

increasing our nation's debt substantially with tax cuts/rebates that haven't actually helped our economy recover. i guess his idea is that the next president(s) will have to clean up his mess for him.

his lack of combat experience (or even military experience) and that he's lied about this - besides the fact that we've only gone to war under republican presidents, he's making up reasons/excuses why we should rather than trying to broker peace

..plus lots more reasons that take me more than half a sec to think about, of course.

ooh, one more thought...tell me what you think about this. i've always thought that condoleeza and omarosa (from the apprentice) are basically the same person. they have the same fucked up values underneath...screw every one else over while you (try to) make yourself look good. i have to admit that condoleeza has been more successful in general since she doesn't have to lie about her experience in the white house.
